Residency Program

-Spring/ Summer ( April - July ) for 4-6 weeks, up to 2 artists per month.

-Fall/ Winter ( September - november ) for 4-6 weeks, up to 2 artists per month

through close conversation with each resident, by the end of the residency period, lacasapark collects each resident’s one or two significant artwork to be placed in lacasapark private collection in exchange of following support:

  • We provide participating residents spacious and the highest quality free housing and well equipped work studios. (See ‘facility’ below for full details)

  • We offer participating residents and alumni intimate networking with professionals in the art community and institutions in U.s and abroad.

  • we offer possibilities to hold an open studio during the residency period.

  • we offer a limited budget for the site specific projects.

    **all transportation and living expense is on the arriving and departing residents.

Application and Selection

LaCasaPark Advisory Board collaborates with institutions and foundations to invite artists who produce work of exceptional quality and are expanding the vocabulary of their art. We regularly conduct studio visits, and invite emerging and established artists whose work we encounter at museums, galleries, and fairs around the world.

-By Galleriest and institution application

we proudly collaborate with significant international galleries, art fairs and institutions to host their artists for upcoming shows in New York. if you are a representative of your artists and interested in collaborating with lacasapark, please write an email to the founders with details of your upcoming event, artist’s profile and portfolio link, timing and expected duration of the residency.

including materials as follow:

  • CV, portfolio link, and any extra materials

  • a brief description about the candidate’s idea on what to achieve during the residency; exhibition prep, new project etc

  • ANY SPECIFIC NARRATIVES TO SUPPORT YOUR PROJECT DURING THE RESIDENCY

  • general timing and the length of the residency

-final acceptance

pre selected artists will be reviewed by the advisory board and the founders for the final acceptance, then the accepted artists will be contacted by the founders to coordinate all aspects of the residency.

-outdoor sculpture field

our 6 acre property is nestled in the beautiful Shawangunk Mountains, surrounded by forests with abundant wildlife, streams and a pond. 3 acres of open grass field is dedicated to site projects, sculptures and relaxation for the residents, and it’s open to the public during the special exhibitions and events. current works on view from our permanent collection are by Bosco Sodi, guido bisagni, lucas simoes, jemila macewan, Adrian s bara, owen armour , alison Kudlow, tomas Diaz cedeno and Pedro Reyes

-the Guesthouse

3200 ft2 guesthouse is an integral supportive space for our RESIDENCY PROGRAM WHERE WE HOST ART INSIDERS TO CONNECT WITH OUR participating RESIDENTS through INTIMATE GATHERINGS and creative dialogues IN A RELAXING ENVIRONMENT. our guesthouse is filled with our in-house created interior details, lacasapark private collection and artworks by Lacasapark alumni.
